Holy Spirit: Practical Ideas for Counseling

This course gives an overview of the Holy Spirit throughout Scripture through the lens of the human experience. You will learn about the role of the Holy Spirit within the Trinity, biblical metaphors for understanding the Spirit, the activity of the Spirit in both the Old and New Testaments, the spiritual life of the people of God, and how to apply these concepts to biblical counseling. Additionally, you will gain a broader perspective on the connection between the biblical theme of presence and the role of the Holy Spirit. Throughout the course, theological content will be integrated with practical application. One section is devoted to examples of how to directly apply the teaching to counseling scenarios.
