CERTIFICATION COURSES

Equipped to Counsel is a Level 1 Biblical Counseling course geared toward certification and designed to equip followers of Christ with the ability to apply the gospel in personal and specific ways to the heart and struggles of others.
This course addresses both the theology and practice of gospel-centered counseling.

By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to minister effectively to individuals, couples, and families with a biblical perspective on change in the context of community through a combination of live courses, journal articles, real-time counseling practice oversight and feedback, training videos, developmental assignments, and more. Issues such as addictions, anxiety, anger, and depression will be covered from the framework of a Biblical counseling worldview.

This course is excellent for pastors, lay counselors, small group/missional community leaders, ministry staff, and anyone wanting to learn how to better care for others. Courses are available with online and in-person options, and include interactions with instructors, feedback with grading, and supervision for counseling hours.

COUNSELING SUPERVISION

Supervision is an important part to ongoing development as a counselor. If you do not have access to this kind of supervision, we can help.

This monthly membership is led by our Director of Counseling, Joe Brinkmann, provides supervision to help you grow as a counselor as well as fulfilling supervision requirements for ABC level 2 training and other training programs at various institutions. 

This subscription includes monthly zoom calls for case review and quarterly check-ins with your counseling supervisor for support and guidance as you grow your counseling knowledge and skills.
