Bridges: Connecting Our Beliefs to Our Practices

This course is designed to further equip you with the ability to apply the gospel in personal and specific ways. You will be able to care for people’s struggles by developing more advanced skills in the personal ministry of God’s word. These more advanced skills include responding patiently to difficult ministry conversations, discerning counseling problems from within a biblical worldview, helping people understand and apply the gospel of Jesus Christ in daily life, and more. We will address both the theology and practice of gospel-centered counseling so that participants will be even more prepared to minister effectively to individuals, couples, and families with a biblical perspective on change in the context of community. This course is excellent for pastors, lay counselors, small group/missional community leaders, ministry staff, and anyone wanting to learn how to better care for others.
